Pichidangui is Choapa's most established seaside resort: a sheltered bay of calm water where people kayak, paddleboard, dive and sail without the crowds of the city beaches. Visitors tend to stay several days, mostly families arriving by car.

Ten minutes inland begins the Quilimarí Valley, with the Quartz Route, adobe cabins, plant nurseries and wellbeing retreats among the hills. Together they form a Tourism Interest Zone recognised by Chile's tourism board, and that pairing is what makes this corner different: a morning at sea, an afternoon of silence.
